After 2 weeks I really needed to go back to the apple keyboard so I purchased this one. My original apple keyboard went out and I replaced it with another brand which wasn't as nice as the apple. The keys are more comfortable to use and it has volume control buttons on the keyboard.

In general, it's a good keyboard, it just doesn't last anywhere nearly as long as I'd like. I'm a programmer and use it pretty much every day for 8-12 hours, so your mileage may vary. The keys are crisp and don't stick. I hate the design of the current Mac keyboard (too flat and doesn't feel right), so I bought this one - which is the older keyboard. The keys started sticking unless they were depressed exactly straight down. The keyboard that came with my current Mac wore out after about 2 years. I replaced it with the keyboard from my G4 which worked fine for about a year and then those keys also began sticking. It's quite nice now, but I expect it to start having problems after 2 years.
: ) KEEP 'EM IN STOCK. WHAT A SHAME THAT YOU CAN'T FIND AN APPLE KEYBOARD ON THE APPLE WEBSITE. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HAVING A WORKHORSE, HEAVY DUTY, OLD STYLE KEYBOARD WHICH I PREFER OVER THE SLIM, ALUMINUM, SILENT NEW ONES. I MAY NEED MORE IN THE FUTURE.
The one you get with a mac is too flat and thin. I love this keyboard. I'm a satisfied customer
